Porscha Davis

Master hair stylist and natural hair care expert, Porscha Davis, has 17 years of experience and accolades in the industry. Born and raised in South Carolina, she was not always passionate about the world of hair, but now can’t imagine her life without it. While studying business in college, she became more and more intrigued with her hair and the hair of others, being called upon to use her craft on the heads of classmates, friends, and family after word got out about her cuts, curls, and braids. The spark became a blaze and from there she fell in love with hair, becoming absorbed in the process of taking hair from dull and lifeless to vibrant and full. She pursued her cosmetology license to hone her craft and learn about what she considers to be the most important aspect of hair – its care and health.

Following years of training, research, and the successful study of how hair responds to various products and routines, she developed the philosophy that "there is no such thing as good or bad hair, only healthy or unhealthy hair," and her objective remains helping clients achieve and maintain hair health. In 2019, she became a cosmetology instructor to be able to educate students and other stylists with her knowledge and skills. Providing service for all ethnicities, textures, and hair types, she further focused on developing regimens for African American natural hair care since 2008, during a time when products and treatments in this area of the market were very few.

Her exemplary work in cosmetology led her to place 1st in the 2011 Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago, Illinois, propelling her to the world stage as she represented the USA Hair Team for the World Hair Olympics in Moscow, Russia. With achievements, experience, and a personal love for healthy hair in tow (and a good twist out), her services have reached over 600 clients to date.
